- Hungerford town was taken over for a cold few days during this Ing Direct commercial. It unfortunately snowed during the shoot sending us into an extra days filming.

- Two stages at Shepperton were required for this commercial for General Electric. Although shot many years ago it remains one of my favourites and is still on my showreel.

- This photo shows a model built for a Spanish soft drinks commercial. The model was built in the UK with the full size sets built in Madrid.

- An evil prince's tower built in the UK and transported to Madrid for the same commercial. The top of the tower interior was built full size in Madrid.

- Santa's North Pole grotto built as a model for a Safeway's Christmas commercial. The two assistants behind were rigging the grotto for chimney smoke.

- This commercial had me flying to San Francisco for meetings and New York for drawings. It was eventually shot at Twickenham in London. How times have changed with the event of E mail.

- An award winning commercial for Malibu. The beach on this set was made with dendritic salt to match the bottle label.

- A perspective set made for a 'Butter' commercial. The background elephant was infact a baby elephant positioned to enhance the scale. It was supposed to be the first time seeing snow in a desert. It went on so long that we were all still there until 4.00am.

- Yes, This is a real Polar bear. The whole set required surrounding by a 3m high fence for safety. The polar bear liked the salt we dressed for snow so much that he got thirsty, drank lots and then weed all over the set! Very smelly.

- An Alien space ship here seen flying over this crop circle built for Citroen, we used thatching reed for the crop as corn was out of season.
