A finished visual for this 'Gavillast' commercial. It was decided to build the set because of the number of complicated shots in the adjacent bathroom requiring walls to be removed for filming access. The brief was a standard upmarket English Hotel.

The corridor scene. Due to available stage space, the practical door was moved from one scene to the other to make it look like the same location.

The finished set. It's always challenging making the final set look like the original visual. Models are sometimes useful here.

This is the scale construction drawing for the hotel. This set was to be pre fabbed prior to my arrival so accurate drawings are essential for the construction team often working on their own.

Excel is very useful to create your own estimate forms. I find it reminds me of all the many elements involved. It's also editable making it useful to keep track of progress as the budget gets spent.
